Employer bankruptcy

After an employer goes bankrupt, your job ends and you may not receive your final pay.

Employer bankruptcy means that the employer’s company ceases operations because it no longer has money. In that situation, your employment also ends, and you could be left without your final pay. If your employer cannot pay you for the work you have already done, you will receive your pay through the wage guarantee system.
